If you searched “condo for rent Ekkamai Bangkok”, here is the short answer: we have seven furnished homes there, in two buildings, let by the month from ฿61,700. Which one is right depends less on the price than on who is moving in: one person, a couple, two friends splitting the rent, a family, or someone bringing a dog.
This page sorts the seven by household. The minimum stay is one calendar month and there are no platform or booking fees, so the monthly figure is the rent you pay. If the walk to the station matters more to you than the layout, our Ekkamai homes sorted by the walk to the BTS covers that instead.
Every Ekkamai condo we let sits in one of two buildings, and knowing which is which settles most of the decision before you look at a single floor plan:
All seven are furnished, with a kitchen, a washing machine, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. None has a garden, and only the pet-friendly building takes animals. Housekeeping is part of the rent in both.

The guest numbers are the listings' own. The two-guest homes are studios or one-bedrooms; the four-guest homes all have two bedrooms and at least two bathrooms. Now take each kind of household in turn.
The QS studio deluxe is the cheapest home we let in Ekkamai, at ฿61,700 a month for 49 m². It has a marble bathroom, a separate kitchen and dining area and high ceilings, and its electricity allowance is ฿4,550 a month. The QS one-bedroom next door in the same building is 80 m² at ฿88,200, with a proper bedroom, separate living and dining areas and a larger kitchen, and an allowance of ฿5,600.
In the pet-friendly building, the studio is 46 m² with a king-size bed and a walk-in shower, at ฿91,800, and the one-bedroom adds a private balcony and a separate living-dining room, at ฿107,700. Both include electricity and water, so the rent is the whole bill.
For a couple who both work from home, the bedroom door is the thing worth paying for. The studio puts the bed and the desk in one room; the 80 m² one-bedroom separates them for ฿26,500 more a month.
One person can live well in a studio. Two people working from home usually want a door between the bed and the desk.
Two friends or colleagues splitting a flat need two bedrooms, and ideally two bathrooms. Three of our Ekkamai homes have both. Split down the middle, the rent comes to:
For sharers the 94 m² flat is the obvious place to start. It costs the same as the 80 m² one-bedroom in the same building, so each of you pays half of what one person pays for the one-bedroom, and you each get your own bathroom. Settle who takes which room before you book; in the pet-friendly two-bedroom, the second room has twin beds rather than a double.
In a QS flat, agree in advance how you will split electricity above the allowance. Two people running the air conditioning in separate rooms will use more than one person would, especially in April. Bangkok's household tariff is published by the Metropolitan Electricity Authority; ask us how usage above the allowance is billed before you sign, so the figure is not a surprise.
For a family, the 140 m² QS two-bedroom with the study is the home we would look at first. It has two en-suite marble bathrooms, a separate guest washroom, a study with a door for whoever works from home, and separate living and dining areas under high ceilings. The building has a children's play room and a saltwater pool. At ฿119,700 a month for four people, that is ฿29,925 a head, with an electricity allowance of ฿11,200.
The 94 m² QS two-bedroom also sleeps four, at ฿88,200, but with one bathroom fewer and no study. The pet-friendly two-bedroom sleeps four as well; its twin room suits two children and every utility is in the rent, but at ฿153,700 it is the dearest of the three and it is 89 m², the smallest of them.
Only three of the seven take animals, and all three are in the pet-friendly building: the 46 m² studio at ฿91,800, the one-bedroom with a balcony at ฿107,700 and the 89 m² two-bedroom at ฿153,700. The QS building is not listed as pet-friendly, so do not plan on bringing an animal there.
Tell us what the animal is, how big it is and how many are coming before you book, and we will check them against the building. The balcony on the one-bedroom and two-bedroom gives a cat somewhere to sit in the sun; free parking helps if you will be driving a dog to the vet. The listing puts the building 550 m from BTS Ekkamai, though its descriptions say nearer 700 metres, which is worth knowing if you plan to walk the dog to the station end of Ekkamai Road.
If an animal is coming, the choice is already made: it is one of the three homes in the pet-friendly building.
Both buildings are on the BTS Sukhumvit Line. From Ekkamai, Thong Lo is one stop west and Asok three, where you can change to the MRT Blue Line at Sukhumvit station. Phra Khanong is one stop east of Ekkamai, so the QS building is four stops from Asok. Fares, first and last trains and the line map are on the BTS website. The Eastern Bus Terminal is beside BTS Ekkamai, which helps if you plan weekends on the coast.
If you came to Ekkamai looking for more room than a flat usually gives, our page on flats with a house's worth of space in Ekkamai goes into that. Otherwise, see all seven Ekkamai homes, pick the one that fits your household, and send us your dates, how many people are coming and whether an animal is coming too. The minimum stay is one calendar month, with no platform or booking fees on top of the rent.
Our seven furnished Ekkamai homes run from ฿61,700 a month for a 49 m² studio to ฿153,700 for an 89 m² pet-friendly two-bedroom. There are no platform or booking fees on top of the rent.
Three of our seven: a 46 m² studio at ฿91,800, a one-bedroom with a balcony at ฿107,700 and an 89 m² two-bedroom at ฿153,700, all in the same building 550 m from BTS Ekkamai. Tell us the animal's size and how many are coming before you book.
In the pet-friendly building, yes: electricity and water are both included. In the QS building, water is included and each flat has a monthly electricity allowance, from ฿4,550 for the studio to ฿11,200 for the 140 m² two-bedroom; usage above it is paid separately.
The 94 m² QS two-bedroom with two bathrooms, at ฿88,200 a month, which is ฿44,100 each. It is 750 m from BTS Phra Khanong.
One calendar month. Every Ekkamai home we let is furnished and let by the month.
