Apartment for rent Bangkok 3 month: three furnished calendar months in ten central areas, from ฿46,600 a month, no booking fee. Compare homes by area.

Search apartment for rent Bangkok 3 month and most of what comes back is priced by the night, with a three-month figure worked out at the end and a hotel's cancellation policy attached. This guide is about the other kind of stay: a furnished apartment on a calendar-month contract, taken three months running, with a key of your own and one price a month.
One calendar month is the shortest stay we let, so three months is simply three of them in a row on the same home. Every figure below belongs to a real furnished apartment on our own list, and no platform fee or booking fee is added to any of them.
A single month forgives a bad choice. Three months does not. You will do a weekly shop, find a laundry, learn which end of the soi floods after rain, and sit at whatever passes for a desk about sixty times.
So the shortlist changes shape. The measured walk to the station matters more than the lobby, the working surface matters more than the view, and where the building puts its bins and its gym matters more than the photograph of the rooftop pool.
The table below shows the cheapest furnished home we currently let in each of the ten central areas, its rent for one calendar month, and that same rent taken three times. It is arithmetic rather than a package price: you pay the monthly figure, three times over.
| area | from | note | station |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rama 4 | ฿46,600 | ฿139,800 over three months · modern studio, housekeeping and Wi-Fi included | BTS Phra Khanong 900 m |
| Thonglor | ฿51,700 | ฿155,100 over three months · 32 m² high-rise at the quiet end of the road | BTS Thong Lo 1.4 km |
| Sukhumvit | ฿52,900 | ฿158,700 over three months · 35 m² studio off Sukhumvit 71 | No station distance listed |
| On Nut | ฿54,200 | ฿162,600 over three months · 38 m² one-bedroom, the cheapest separate bedroom we let | BTS On Nut 350 m |
| Ekkamai | ฿61,700 | ฿185,100 over three months · 49 m² deluxe studio in a serviced building | BTS Phra Khanong 750 m |
| Central Bangkok | ฿66,800 | ฿200,400 over three months · 80 m² two-bedroom with service | BTS Thong Lo 200 m |
| Asoke | ฿72,500 | ฿217,500 over three months · 43 m² studio with a desk, beside the convention centre | MRT Queen Sirikit 1.0 km |
| Rama 9 | ฿75,600 | ฿226,800 over three months · 52 m² studio loft | No station distance listed |
| Sathon | ฿78,100 | ฿234,300 over three months · pet-friendly one-bedroom | No station distance listed |
| Lumpini | ฿85,700 | ฿257,100 over three months · 55 m² one-bedroom beside the park | BTS Sala Daeng 700 m |
Across the quarter, the distance between the cheapest and the dearest of those ten entry prices is ฿117,300 — roughly two and a half months of the Rama 4 studio at ฿46,600 on its own. That gap is not building quality. It is a longer walk, a quieter road, and a station one or two stops further out on the same line.
Over one month, most people take the smallest thing near the right station and get on with it. Over three, the second room usually earns its rent, and the cleanest way to see that is inside a single building rather than across the city.
In Ekkamai, a 49 m² deluxe studio is ฿61,700 a month and the 94 m² serviced apartment in the same block is ฿88,200. Same 750 m walk to BTS Phra Khanong, same front desk: ฿26,500 a month, or ฿79,500 across the quarter, for roughly double the floor space.
A month can be survived in 35 square metres. Three months is where the second room starts to pay for itself.
Upper Sukhumvit shows the same ladder in three rungs. Off Sukhumvit 71 a 35 m² studio is ฿52,900 a month, a 50 m² one-bedroom is ฿70,600, and a 75 m² two-bedroom is ฿105,800. Over three months that is ฿158,700, ฿211,800 and ฿317,400 — and the top of the ladder is a different budget, not an upgrade.
Lumpini rewards the same thinking at the other end of the scale. A 39 m² one-bedroom near BTS Phloen Chit is ฿86,900 a month, while a 160 m² three-bedroom near BTS Sala Daeng is ฿119,700. Four times the floor space and two more bedrooms cost ฿32,800 a month, or ฿98,400 across the stay, in one of the most expensive districts on our list.
A three-month stay almost always has fixed dates attached — a contract, a term, a project. That makes the size of an area's list matter as much as its entry price, because a short list may have nothing free for the exact months you need.
If your months are flexible by a week or two, the small lists are often where the value sits: Rama 4 and On Nut both start below ฿55,000 a month, and Thonglor's twenty-nine homes span ฿51,700 to ฿299,000, which is the full range of central Bangkok inside one district.
For most of the year, 350 m and 1.4 km are two entirely different walks in this city, and over three months you will make the shorter one several hundred times. Before you shortlist anything, open the route maps for the BTS Skytrain and the MRT, and find the line you will actually use on a Tuesday morning.
After the line it is temperament rather than price: Sathon for quiet evenings, Thonglor and Ekkamai for cafés and late food, On Nut and Rama 4 for floor space, Lumpini for the park, Asoke and Central Bangkok for the shortest commute. The longer comparison of where to live in Bangkok goes through each district on noise, commute and daily life.
Thai law asks the owner or possessor of a property to notify the authorities when a foreign national stays there. In practice the landlord or the building does it and you are simply asked for a copy of your passport at check-in, the same as for a one-month stay.
Three calendar months also sits close to the ninety-day mark, at which foreigners whose permission to stay runs on past ninety consecutive days are asked to file an address notification of their own. Whether that applies to you depends on the permission in your passport rather than on the apartment; the rules are published by the Immigration Bureau.
Decide the station first, then the number of rooms, then the budget — in that order. Over a quarter, a home that is right about the commute and roomy enough to work in will beat a smarter address you have to leave every time you need a table.
When two or three areas are on your list, you can filter every furnished home we let by the month by area, size and price, and send us the dates. The minimum stay is one calendar month, three months is three of those on one contract, and the number on the listing is the number you pay.
Yes. The minimum stay is one calendar month and rents are quoted by the month, so a three-month stay is three consecutive months on the same furnished home and the same contract. A stay that starts on the 12th ends on the 12th.
Entry prices across the ten central areas we cover run from ฿46,600 a month on Rama 4 to ฿85,700 a month at Lumpini, which is ฿139,800 to ฿257,100 across three months. A comfortable one-bedroom near a station in Sukhumvit, Ekkamai or Asoke usually sits between ฿70,000 and ฿100,000 a month.
The price shown on each listing is the monthly rent, and a three-month stay is that figure three times. There is no platform fee or booking fee added at any length of stay, so what changes over three months is what you can afford in space rather than a different rate.
The longest lists are Sukhumvit with 30 homes from ฿52,900, Thonglor with 29 from ฿51,700 and Central Bangkok with 27 from ฿66,800. Smaller areas such as On Nut, Rama 9 and Rama 4 have four to six homes each, so ask early if your dates cannot move.
Every home is furnished and working on arrival, including the kitchen, washing machine and Wi-Fi. Daily housekeeping, breakfast and stated internet speeds vary building by building and are written on each individual listing rather than implied by the word serviced.
Your permission to enter and remain in Thailand is a matter between you and the Immigration Bureau, and it is separate from the apartment. What the property side involves is the owner's notification that a foreign national is staying there, which the landlord or building normally handles with a copy of your passport.
